Tina Wayland
Director
School of Continuing Education
Everytown Community College
300 Second Avenue
Everytown, NY 11111

Dear Tina,

My name is Sarah Jones, and I am the human resources coordinator at the Everytown Children’s Museum. In the past I’ve sent staff members to computer trainings at Everytown Community College, and have been very pleased with the training they received there. I am sure that, as the director of a community organization, there are unique challenges that you face everyday. As an HR coordinator for a nonprofit, I struggle with limited financial resources, the difficulty of finding older volunteers, the lack of affordable training for staff, and a complicated organizational structure.

I would like to request that the School of Continuing Education consider offering a series of human resources trainings geared towards nonprofit organizations. I believe this is something that my nonprofit peers are hungry for—and no one else in the community is currently meeting this need. In fact, I believe there is significant revenue potential in a low-cost series of nonprofit HR trainings. If you are interested, I have done some casual surveying among my local peers, and I would like to share their thoughts with you.

Tina, I would love to call you and discuss this further by phone.

My telephone number: 888-888-8888
My email address: sarah@fakeaddress.fake

I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Sarah Jones
Human Resources Coordinator
